Not many Daytonas have brown sub-dials and are in a full set - this Rolex Zenith Daytona 16520 is one of them. The brown patina makes this dial absolutely unique and awards a beautiful vintage flair to this classic chronograph.

In 1988 quartz watches were already massive in production and the mechanical watch was a thing of the past. However, Rolex decided to turn the Oyster Cosmograph Daytona to a mechanical automatic watch. The movement was the legendary, high-precision El Primero of Zenith, which was revised by Rolex and called caliber 4030. The era of the automatic Zenith Daytonas lasted from 1988 until 2000, when Rolex presented the new Daytona with its own in-house movement.

This Rolex Daytona 16520 has a U serial number and dates back to the year 1997. The watch comes with its chronometer certificate, warranty certificate, booklet, Rolex calendar and box. The original full set additionally increases the collector's value of this timepiece. According to papers, this watch was handed over to its new owner in 1999 in Trieste, Italy. A real highlight of this Daytona is the dark brown patina of the sub-dials, which were originally white. On the wrist the watch looks just gorgeous. The black dial is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and has sharp edges. The Rolex Oyster bracelet with the reference 78390 and end links 503B from 1998 fits perfectly to the watch.
