This Tudor Oysterdate 79160 dates back to 1992 and is accompanied by the original full set. The aesthetics and the power look of this chronograph is hard to beat. The beautiful reverse panda dial with three white registers and the date doesn't go unnoticed on any wrist.

The reference 79160 was presented for the first time in 1989. To accommodate the new automatic movement, the new Oyster case was built thicker and taller than its predecessor. That's why this Tudor model is also called "Big Block".

The present example of the reference 79160 was sold in Switzerland in March 1992 and has remained in great condition to this day. The reverse panda dial with the three white sub dials at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock and the date window at 3 o'clock ensure a high recognition value. The black bezel shows a white tachymeter scale to measure the speed. The dial is preserved absolutely flawlessly.

This Tudor has a date quickset that allows setting the date with a few turns of the crown. The winding crown as well as the chrono pushers are screwed down providing a waterproof case. At the heart of this chronograph is the Valjoux 7750 automatic movement, which runs flawlessly in all functions.
