This vintage Zenith chronograph is the epitome of elegance and class. The Zenith A273 was made in the 1960s and is a sporty, elegant chronograph.

The beautiful silver dial and the large 37mm case provide an impressive presence on the wrist. The proportions of the dial make this wristwatch so harmonious. The Zenith star, the small Zenith logo and the tachymeter scale are perfectly proportioned. Thin hands and the sub dials also keep these proportions.

Here we offer you an exceptional example of that Zenith model. When looking at this A273, it is hard to believe that this watch is over 60 years old. The silver dial is flawless and the sunburst finish is intact. The sub dials are also free of any imperfections. The stainless-steel case is unpolished and shows only little signs of wear. The case back also tells us how well this specimen is preserved: The Zenith NATO star is sharp and the serial number is still deeply engraved. The engravings are often no longer visible due to the polishing.

This A273 Chronograph is powered by the in-house Zenith caliber 146-HP. This high-quality movement was Zenith's last manual-wound caliber before the El Primero automatic movement was presented in 1969. The caliber 146-HP is in perfect condition providing accurate timekeeping. The chronograph starts, stops and resets properly.

The Zenith A273 is a very special vintage chronograph, which is still undervalued in our opinion. This particular example is a very rare and special collector's watch due to its excellent condition.
