This Girard-Perregaux diving watch is the epitome of the 1970s. It was a colorful era with bold watch designs that represented the pursuit of freedom. This watch has a large 43 mm compressor case and an extravagant dial design. The inner bezel can be rotated with the crown at 2 o'clock. The dial has black, silver and orange accents. The original lume material is tritium and has a nice creamy color. Back then, such wristwatches were reliable tools that were meant to be worn. The watch is equipped with the high quality Gyromatic HF (high frequency) caliber 441-295. This movement has the hacking function: if you pull out the winding crown at 4 o'clock to set the time, the second hand stops. This means that the time can be set to the exact second. The movement has been checked and runs absolutely perfectly providing an accurate time keeping. Both crowns are signed with the GP logo.
