Heuer Carrera 1153 Mick Jagger - GF Bracelet

perfect dial - gay-frères bracelet - honest case

Description
This HEUER Carrera 1153N belongs to the famous family of automatic Carreras, which is equipped with the HEUER caliber 11 developed in 1969. Before 1969, the Carrera was only available as a manual-wind version with Valjoux movements. Caliber 11 was the first automatic chronograph movement in the world. Its hallmark is the winding crown on the left side of the case. The new automatic Carrera was presented with different dial variants.

Here you see the reference 1153N from 1970 with a blue metallic dial and white sub-dials. This model was worn by none other than Mick Jagger (see pictures). This gave this Carrera a cult status.

The chrono second hand is orange and the original tritium lume material has a warm, creamy color. Overall, the color combination of this Carrera is very harmonious. The highlight of this watch is undoubtedly the beautiful overall condition. The dial is absolutely clean and has no scratches. The stainless steel case is very well preserved and has sharp edges. Few signs of wear give this 50 year old watch an honest look.

This Carrera is powered by the famous HEUER caliber 11, which is in perfect condition. The chronograph starts, stops and resets properly. Last but not least, this HEUER Carrera is accompanied by a beautiful Gay-Frères bracelet from 1971.

Overall, this HEUER Carrera 1153N is a valuable collector's item and a reliable wristwatch.
