The colorful design combined with the enchanting patina give this Heuer Autavia 11630 GMT a unique look.
This vintage wristwatch dates from the 1970s and is the second generation of the automatic GMT Autavias. In addition to the chronograph function, the Autavia GMT offers a second time zone, shown by the red-blue 24-hour bezel and the yellow central hand.
The first glance at this particular watch suggests that it is in excellent condition. A closer look won't disappoint either. The stainless steel case has hardly any signs of wear, the sunburst finish is intact and the lugs are sharp. The rotating 24-hour bezel is absolutely flawless.
The sunken reverse-panda dial shows a beautiful patina in the white sub-dials. The black surface is perfectly preserved. The tritium lume in the red-bordered hands changed its color to a dark green hue as a result of natural aging, which gives the dial a fantastic vintage look.
The 30-minute counter with red stripes is at 3 o'clock, the 12-hour totalizer is at 9 o'clock and the date is at 6 o'clock. The GMT chronograph is powered by the Heuer automatic caliber 14, which has been tested and operates perfectly keeping good time. This Autavia GMT is original in every single part, including the Heuer signed crown and the fluted chronograph pushers. The watch is accompanied by a sporty racing leather strap and a Heuer clasp.
That's so much fun to have this Heuer Autavia GMT on your wrist. And it's a rare vintage collector's watch in excellent condition.
