Vintage Heuer Monaco 1533 NOS Sticker for sale

The Heuer Monaco 1533 came on the market in 1972 and was a variant of the legendary rectangular Monaco 1133. Instead of a 12-hour totalizer, this model has a sub-dial at 10 o'clock with the small running second, a crosshair and the model name "Monaco" underneath. As usual, the white 30-minute counter is at 3 o'clock and the date at 6 o'clock.

The specialty of this watch is the almost unworn NOS condition, which is proved by the original Heuer sticker on the case back. The blue dial has no scratches. Monacos that have been in the safe for a long time show a typical phenomenon that can also be seen in the present watch: the gasket has dissolved and left its mark on the dial (see pictures). The tritium lume in the hour markers and hands is original and intact.

The rectangular stainless steel case shows just minor traces of long storage. It has the original Heuer sticker on the back and sharp lugs. The watch is accompanied by the rare vintage stainless steel bracelet, which was specially produced for the Heuer Monaco. The lightweight bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist. The Monaco is powered by the chronograph caliber 15 - a version of the legendary caliber 11 from Heuer. The automatic movement keeps time very good. The chronograph starts, stops and resets perfectly.

The condition of vintage watches is becoming more and more important for the discerning collectors, making this NOS Monaco even more valuable. It is definitely a rare chance to get hold of a chronograph icon.
