This is a fine and rare Vacheron Constantin wristwatch in 18k yellow gold from the 1950s.

Vacheron Constantin produced wristwatches in the mid-twentieth century that offered a timeless elegance and were among the finest timepieces of the era. An absolutely stunning example is this yellow gold wristwatch from 1951. This vintage watch is evident of the post-war era where loud, atypical designs were experimented. With its large 38mm diameter, this watch was ahead of its time. Not to be overlooked are the exotic spider lugs that provide a striking look on the wrist.

The silver-tone dial features the attractive and rare guilloche pattern, which along with the fine gold hands, hour markers, and minute track on the rim of the dial make for a minimalist design. The sub-dial with running seconds is at 6 o'clock.

This watch is accompanied by an original vintage Vacheron Constantin box.
