Shantung is the name of a very fine silk fabric that has characteristic grooves and is often referred to as the "king of silks". The Shantung dial also has this fine texture with irregular grooves.

Combined with the solid 18K yellow gold case with fluted bezel, the dark blue dial offers a luxurious charm and looks very elegant on the wrist. It is complemented by the original riveted Oyster bracelet in 18 carat yellow gold.
