Heuer Monaco 1133B Blue - Steve McQueen

The Heuer Monaco was the world's first water-resistant square wristwatch. Between 1969 and 1974, fewer than 4500 Heuer Monaco watches were produced. After around 50 years, far fewer watches are still in good condition. The Heuer Monaco is powered by the legendary automatic caliber 11. Last but not least, the automatic Monaco with a blue dial is also popular thanks to its famous wearer, Steve McQueen.

Dial: excellent, clean blue surface - white sub-dials with authentic even patina - original tritium lume in hands and markers - fantastic dark patina in markers and hands - matching colors - signed with "Monaco", Heuer logo, "Automatic Chronograph" and "swiss".

Case: worn but unpolished - slight signs of wear - sharp edges - full profile - intact engravings on the back: "Tool No 033" and the Heuer logo - correct Heuer crown - correct fluted chrono pushers.

Movement: automatic Heuer caliber 11 - values on the timegrapher: rate +1s/day, beat error: 0.1 ms, amplitude: 278 degrees - chronograph starts, stops and resets perfectly.

Bracelet: stainless steel bracelet by NSA - almost unworn condition - signed Heuer folding clasp - original leather strap with original Heuer buckle.

Summing-Up
The Heuer Monaco 1133B from the 1970s is a design icon. Hardly any other wristwatch offers such a high recognition value. And here you see an absolutely TOP example. Due to the few signs of wear you don't have to worry about wearing the watch on the wrist. The outstanding dial will delight any discerning collector.
