This unusual Vacheron Constantin 4591 is a perfect proof of the exclusivity of the Vacheron Constantin brand, which is one of the oldest watch manufacturers in the world and is admired for its own high-quality movements.

Reference 4591 was launched in 1949. With its opulent shapes the watch embodies the design of the chic era of the 50s and 60s. The unique silhouette of the rectangular case is created thanks to the flared sides and the raised crystal. Vintage collectors call the shape of this case "tegola". This is the Italian term for sloping house roofs.

The case of this Tegola from the 1950s is made of white gold and houses an elegant silver dial with diamond indices and a sub-dial with running seconds. The watch is accompanied by an original red Vacheron Constantin box from the 1950s.

Dial: excellent condition - honestly aged silver surface - all diamonds markers are intact.

Case: 18k white gold case - very light signs of wear - intact gold hallmarks - correct engravings inside the case back - the upper part of the case is engraved on the inside with two numbers that correspond to the last two digits of the case number inside the lower part (case back).

Movement: Vacheron Constantin calibre 352 - values on the timegrapher: rate: +33 s/day, beat error: 2.3 ms, amplitude: 246 degrees.
