SoldThe look of this Heuer Carrera Dato from the 1960s alone is enough to evoke emotions in lovers of vintage timepieces. But this watch offers much more. It comes from its first owner, who purchased his Carrera in Pirmasens, Germany on July 12, 1969. This information comes not only from the first owner himself, but also from the original Heuer papers. He has even kept the original manual to this day.
Apart from its known provenance, reference 2547N is also a very rare calendar chronograph and is one of the most complicated watches that Heuer has ever produced. It is powered by the Valjoux 72C caliber and displays the date, month and day of the week.
The design of the reverse panda dial is simply stunning. Despite being packed with information, it doesn't look cluttered at all. We love the blue date display on the dial periphery, which is realized by of the red crescent tip of the central hand.
The next special thing is the original Gay-Frères bracelet from 1968. These bracelets are not only very rare, but also light and comfortable to wear.
And finally, this watch impresses with its authentic condition. The case has never been polished and the 100% original dial is preserved in top condition and shows a beautiful patina.
