This mechanical timepiece was born during the quartz crisis of 1970/80, when mechanical watches fell on hard times. As a result, watch manufacturers tried to impress with eye-catching, uncharacteristic designs. This Jaeger-LeCoultre with its unusual white gold case is a perfect example of this. We love the exotic lugs with four sapphire cabochon stones on the sides, which together with the silver-blue dial create a harmonious look.
